SIZE OF THE PROJECT

Typical phosphate mines in Florida are 3 to 5 million tons per year.

HPSII proposes to build a 1.2 million ton per year mine in both Bradford and Union Counties mining between 200 and 300 acres per year.

These mines are projected to provide a combined workforce of approximately 152 direct employees and 418 indirect/induced jobs in the region.

The direct employees are anticipated to be compensated on an hourly rate between $15 and $25 per hour plus benefits.
