WWALS won the Adopt-A-Stream Award for cleanups, presented in the Rivers Alive Awards in Atlanta by the Georgia Department of Natural Resources.

The hard part is stoppping the trash before it gets into the rivers, by parking lot owner education and ordinance enforcement, and trash traps on the creeks before the rivers.
