WWALS is for:

• Rights to Clean Air, Water, and Land.
• Solar power: we support it, but beware of wooded wetlands
• Water Trails; see also Trails Committee.
• Water Quality Testing; see also Testing Committee.

WWALS watches and often opposes:

• Valdosta (and other) Wastewater
• Trash: cleanups are not enough
• PFAS: They’re everywhere, they don’t break down naturally, and they cause disease: per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) “forever chemicals”
• Corporate agriculture: land purchases and land use, including water withdrawals and pesticide and fertilizer runoff and leaching
• So-called natural gas; see also the WWALS Watershed Issues Committee.
