The map in this Chemours followup report about its January 31, 2024, 194,195-gallon wastewater spill seems to indicate the water went south into Double Run Creek, which goes to the Santa Fe River.

The latlong in the map legend, 29.8901015, -82.0506411, is on one branch of Double Run Creek.

That would be through the same SRWMD tracts that Chemours now wants the Army Corps to permit for mining expansion.

So apparently not north through Alligator Creek and Starke to Lake Rowell, as in my previous speculation after the FDEP Public Notice of Pollution. That speculation was based on the latlong in the initial report, 29.906479033014865, -82.0576515197747, which was significantly farther north. There is no explanation for the location change.
Also, this Chemours February 5, 2024, followup report does not identify the receiving creek, does not attempt to follow the wastewater downstream, and shows no testing anywhere but very near the spill site. I would think FDEP should require those things.
