A perfect evening, with a supermoon, which for a change rose before the sun set.
Seventeen people paddled out on Banks Lake to see the Full Pink Moon, on a weekday evening, yesterday, Monday, April 27, 2021.
You don’t see seventeen people in that picture because at least one arrived after that.
The leader of this outing, Bobby McKenzie, told everybody to just paddle by the two gators at the end of the dock, and there probably would be bats.
Bobby McKenzie, safety lecture
The fishing line collection bin is new at Banks Lake. Every park and boat ramp should have one.
Fishing line here, trash goes there
All other pictures are by Bobby McKenzie from his facebook photoset, or maybe Monica McKenzie took some of them, considering Bobby is in some.
The sunset was as good as the moonrise.
Well, the paddlers prefered the moonrise.
Many more pictures are on the WWALS website and on Bobby McKenzie’s facebook photoset. Probably other people also posted pictures.
