WWALS Board Member Kim Tanner, assisted by Board Member Janet Martin and other paddlers at Banks Lake, determined the winner of the raffle for the Skimmer 128 Hurricane kayak.

People got their raffle tickets online, at various festivals and outings, at the WWALS River Revue, etc.

Kim shook them all up and Ryan drew the winner.

Kim [actually, Janet] did succeed in calling the winner later, who said, “What a wonderful surprise!”

Belinda added, “Truthfully I feel like a little kid on Christmas.” 🎁

Later this week, Kim [actually, Janet Massengale] will deliver the kayak to Belinda in Live Oak, Florida.

It’s slightly-used 12-foot 9-inch sit-on-top kayak with paddle, a Hurricane Skimmer 128.

New, it lists for $1,399.

WWALS thanks everyone who made the suggested donation of $10 for one ticket or $50 for six tickets.
