2013 Wilderness Georgia Photo Contest
or by November for the
Smithsonian Photocontest 2013
or bring them to the silent auction tomorrow at
the WWALS Janisse Ray fundraiser in Tifton.

Designated
Wilderness Areas in Georgia
include
the Okefenokee Wilderness.
Although
Grand Bay Wetland Management Area
although it has many of
the same species and
habitats,
doesn’t count for the GA Sierra Club contest.

Purpose: To educate the public about Georgia’s designated Wilderness
Areas and help promote the 50th Anniversary of the Wilderness Act.

Smithsonian Photocontest 2013:
The contest is open until November 29, 2013 at 2:00 PM EST. Smithsonian
judges will post the best of the incoming entries to our
Photo of the Day and
Tumblr pages. Finalists will be announced on March 3, 2014. Good
