The organizing committee will be working to find judges, sponsors, and songwriters, in Live Oak this Sunday, to prepare for the Second Annual Suwannee Riverkeeper Songwriting Contest, which will be August 24, 2019, at The Salty Snapper in Valdosta. Songwriters, submissions are open, so you can go ahead and send in your song!

Thanks to last year’s winner, Laura D’Alisera, for agreeing to perform at this year’s Finals. Laura also liked the contest so much she joined the Committee, and took good notes at the previous two meetings. So we know we still have organizing work to do, such as find more judges, more sponsors, and get those songwriters to send in songs!
