Two of these are 158.5 acres in Parcel 5069-010, with a spring marked Adams Spring, and the parcel immediately to its west, both in the Withlacoochee River watershed. You can see the Withlacoochee River in the lower left (SW) corner of the map. So it’s not just the Alapahoochee River and the Alapaha River Mr. Gates’ land agents are interested in.

Also curiously right next to the original proposed path of the Sabal Trail pipeline. Next to as in the next parcel to the west is on the original pipeline path. You can see the old existing SONAT pipeline on the above map, and Sabal Trail’s original proposed path across the Withlacoochee River parallels that old right of way. Which would put both of these Lakeland Sands parcels well within a thousand-foot blast radius.
