Convenient to Lake City, Live Oak, and Jasper, not to mention Fargo, Statenville, Lakeland, and Valdosta, it’s a half-day paddle down the iconic Suwannee River in the cool of November.

Duration: Approx. 9 miles, or 4.5 hours @ 2mph

Where: Cypress Creek Launch (at CR 6) to Cone Bridge Boat Ramp

Directions from Jasper: Take CR 6 East approx. 10 miles turn left onto dirt access road just before bridge.

Directions from Live Oak: Take US 129 to Jasper, then follow Jasper directions.

Directions from Lake City: Take US 441 N about 23 miles, turn left onto NW Bay Creek St., after 2.8 miles cross the river and take the dirt access road on the right.

Directions from Fargo, GA: Take US 441 S 15 miles, turn right onto onto NW Bay Creek St., after 2.8 miles cross the river and take the dirt access road on the right.

From Valdosta, GA: Take GA 94 southeast 18 miles, turn right onto US 129, go 15 miles to Jasper, turn left on CR 6, and follow direcitons from Jasper.

Stephen Foster State Park Visitors Center to Billies Island

When: 9AM Sunday November 22nd 2015

Directions: From Fargo, GA take US 441 South approx. 1 mile, turn left onto GA 177, follow to visitors center
