The more done on the board list, the less time we’ll have to spend on them in this meeting.

All WWALS members, especially committee members, are invited to attend, as is the general public.

      Waterkeeper Alliance Conference 7-11 June 2017, Deer Valley Resort, Park City, Utah. Scholarship of $400 from WKA, remainder $550 must be paid by 1 May 2017. Plus $70 airport shuttle: $629 total, plus incidentals. jsq can go, and can pay airfare from his personal airline miles. So this one will cost WWALS significantly less than last year.

   2. Vote: $478.00 for Suwannee Riverkeeper DBA: I used general funds for this but if there is consensus, I can use transfer from legal fund.

   1. Let’s finish the water trails. Mostly need resolution of landing names and addresses, and signs (kiosks near the water and on roads). Have interest from several scout troups; need to follow up on that and other leads.

   1. Special thanks to the Science Committee for ramping up participation. We’re also getting members, especially new ones, more involved. We need to do more of that.

   1. Alapaha River Water Trail Brochures: I think we are nearly out. I have fulfilled three requests from Georgia Visitor Centers (they asked for nearly 2000, I am sending a total of 750 — 250 to each of three centers)

      Chris Mericle reports that Hamilton County does not have any more (he will re-check).
