Gretchen Quarterman speaking at a WWALS public meeting at VSU last spring
WWALS will be offering an interactive lecture at Valdosta State Learning in Retirement Fall Session. We will talk about the watershed of the Suwannee Basin, the Floridan Aquifer, current challenges, and how together we can make sure our water is swimmable, fishable, and drinkable.
Anatomy of the Floridan Aquifer, by VSU Geology Professor Can Denizman, in Water, Agriculture, and Forestry Public Meeting
You must be a VSU/LIR student to attend and but once you register, most classes are free (including this one). Information about LIR is here: https://www.valdosta.edu/academics/extended-learning/continuing-education/programs/lir/welcome.php
We will be in room 240 and there is plenty of space available.
