Update 2022-03-28: Map: Two Mile and Three Mile Branch, Valdosta 2022-02-14
I toured bridges on Two Mile Branch and found three in a row with shopping carts and trash. Three Mile Branch wasn’t as bad. Click ‘n’ Fixes incoming. Looking forward to the City of Valdosta cleaning up these messes, which otherwise end up in the Withlacoochee River.
For more about the Valdosta trash situation, see https://wwals.net/issues/trash/.
Two Mile Branch
The Berkley Drive bridge wasn’t too bad that day. The City of Valdosta owns Two Mile Branch all the way from the Joree Millpond dam up past Berkley Drive, so this would be an excellent place for a trash trap.
The Oak Street Bridge had some trash lodged at the sewer line. That’s actually in VLPRA’s McKey Park.
The Patterson Street bridge didn’t have much trash. Downstream is McKey Park, upstream is VSU.
Shopping buggies started at the Ashley Street bridge.
The University Drive Bridge had a mattress.
‘ The Seymour Street bridge had a shopping buggy and trash.
The Bemiss Road bridge didn’t have much trash. Upstream is VLPRA’s Taylor-Cowart Park.
Three Mile Branch
The Briggs Street bridge downstream from the Winn-Dixie parking lot had more trash than first appeared.
Oh, look, Zacadoo’s!
The Castle Creek Place bridge was pretty clean.
The Country Club Drive bridge still had some trash upstream.
This would be a good idea.

All these bridges will appear soon on the WWALS map of the Withlacoochee and Little River Water Trail.
