This only ever happened once before: the WWALS kayak raffle winner was standing there at the drawing.
WWALS Executive Director Gretchen Quarterman had already transcribed the online tickets onto paper tickets like all the others.
At the Banks Lake Full Cold Moon Paddle, She put all the tickets in the box, from each envelope for each outing or event.
WWALS member Alan Conger, who had not bought a raffle ticket, drew the winner.
Here’s a WWALS video playlist:

Video by Gretchen Quarterman for WWALS Watershed Coalition (WWALS).
And the winner is Holly Jones, a beekeeper from Lanier County.
Posing with the prize.
She likes the kayak.
Thanks to Frank and Sissy Norman for the donation of the Jackson Kayak Big Tuna fishing kayak, with seats, paddles, and life jackets.
Holly and her whole family got in the boat.
And rode off into the sunset.
They plan to be back next month, with two in a canoe and one in the kayak.
Thanks to everyone who bought a raffle ticket, and to the raffle kayak donors: you all contributed to the outings and advocacy of WWALS.
We could use another raffle kayak now. Anybody got one to donate?
