Nine miles south of Willacoochee on GA 135 and twelve miles east of Nashville on GA 76, which turns into Riverside Road as it crosses GA 135, is this traditional put-in for the Alapaha River. However, it is not clear that access is public, so we can’t recommend it unless that is clarified.
This is apparently Riverside Missionary Baptist Church, 1600 Riverside Road, Nashville GA 31639. Bret Wagenhorst took these pictures 14 September 2014.
Road on the north side of the church cemetery leading down to the river. The gate was closed and chained but there were no No Trespassing signs posted. It is about 100-150 yards from the gate to the river. It is a straight line to the river.

Upstream view. The river is very pretty, even at low water.
