Lake Cleve, the Cherry Creek bridge on Cherry Creek Road, and The Dip are all on the WWALS map of the Withlacoochee and Little River Water Trail.

What’s The Dip? Teenagers used to drive their cars through the water on the dam for kicks. Spoilsport owners closed that down some years ago.

Cherry Creek

Interesting neighborhood, with newly-formed Cherry Creek Sink on the Withlacoochee River, and old-time Shadrick Sink still sending river water underground to Valdosta’s water wells near Freedom Park, which the city sank twice as deep to get under that tannic-acid water which otherwise would react with their treatment chemicals.

Hm, we need to add Valdosta’s Cherry Creek Lift Station to the map.
