The First Annual Suwannee Riverkeeper Songwriting contest was a success! We will be asking some of the winners to play at Paddle Georgia in June 2019, which will be good publicity for the Second Annual Contest in August 2019.
The WWALS Board at its January 13, 2019 Quarterly Board Meeting reconstituted this committee as a Sub-Committee of the Events Committee, with initial members Scotti Jay (Chair), Eileen Box (Chair), Sara Squires, Tom H. Johnson Jr., and John S. Quarterman.
The new WWALS Songwriting Contest Subcommittee then picked the time and place for its initial in-person meeting. Maybe you’d like to join the committee?
