WWALS Outings Committee Chair Phil Hubbard made these metal signs and planted them yesterday at Troupville Boat Ramp on the Little River. Meet at these signs for the cleanup this morning, led by WWALS member Bobby McKenzie.
Phil said he had some difficulty finding a spot where he could dig. As you can see, he found a good location just to the left of the boat ramp.
That fits with what we agreed with George Page, Executive Director, Valdosta-Lowndes County Parks & Recreation Authority (VLRPA): near the boat ramp where people can see it easily.
The content was decided by the WWALS Trails Committee and reviewed by the WWALS Board. We’re all ears for further suggestions.
Note the More Sponsors Here. These signs are relatively inexpensive to make, so we can add more sponsors.
So if you or your organization would like to sponsor this or another landing, or the entire Withlacoochee and Little River Water Trail, please let us know.
