PR from the Friends says:

Come celebrate Earth Day # 48 at the Lower Suwannee Wildlife Refuge Friday, April 20th from 9:00 till noon. Begun in 1970 to focus attention on conservation of our natural resources, the main topic, sponsored by the Friends of the Refuge, will be Water Quality.

There will also be presentations on Marine Mammals and Conserving Our Fisheries. You’re welcome to walk the River Trail, take the Nature Drive, or visit the Shell Mound Archeologic site at the mouth of the Suwannee River.

So come on down to Fowler’s Bluff on Earth Day!
